THE DISABLING POWER OF FEAR

Fear challenges the Word of God. We cannot obey what we challenge in our minds and souls. Fear links arm-in-arm with unbelief and paralyzes our spiritual walk. What our hearts long to do becomes impossible to us because fear and unbelief say "no, you had better not, no, you cannot". At that point, the war is on. The wrestling match between what the word says we can be and do begins and rages on until we stop denying the power of God. It rages on until we say, “No, I cannot, but God can use me to do it. I do not have to be ragged in body mind, soul, spirit, affairs, relationships, concerns or possessions because God has promised me abundant life.” There are accounts all over the world, even in extremely hopeless, dry places, where desserts blossom because of those who through faith and patience obtain the promises of God.
